Col Raman Thapar, General Manager, IMEDF was invited as a panelist at the National level Workshop on Moringa-based Livelihoods by GIZ and Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India on 22nd October, 2024 in New Delhi. The workshop is part of Million Plus Livelihoods, a special initiative of DAY-NRLM to promote adoption of moringa cultivation among women Self Help Groups.

As part of its capacity-building vertical, IMEDF conducted its fourth online workshop on October 23, 2024. The theme of the workshop was 'Insights into a Project Report'. 15 organisations including students from five academic institutions participated in the workshop.

Indian Micro Enterprise Development Foundation, a special purpose vehicle of Development Alternatives group, has organized the third online workshop in the series especially designed for enterprises, clusters and Small Scale Entrepreneurs. The workshop was conducted on July 30th, 2024 .

IMEDF’S SFURTI Channapatna lacware toy cluster participated in the National Toybiz exhibition from July 6th 2024 till July 9th 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Aim was to explore the partnership opportunities for B to B linkages.

Buyer Seller meet was organized by Shree Biligiri Rangaswamy Soligara Samskarana Sangha (Special Purpose Vehicle) of BR Hills Wild Honey SFURTI Cluster of IMEDF on June 15th and June 16th 2024. Major aim was to promote sustainable livelihood practices of the Soliga tribal community and to facilitate mutually beneficial partnerships for marketing.

Charaka Mahila Vividoddesha Kaigarika Sahakaara sangha, the Special Purpose Vehicle of IMEDF SFURTI" The Natural Dye Cluster", in collaboration with Desi Trust and Ragi Kana has organized Exhibition at International Center in Bangalore from 17th May till 21st May 2024. Highlights included sale and exhibition of handloom and art products, seminar on rural livelihoods.

IMEDF under its Capacity Building vertical conducted a three-hour online workshop on - Marketing Solutions for Enterprises in the F & B sector on 11th June, 2024, for 15+ participants from 10 organizations.
