Description - Treat Foundation is the SPV for Baraulia Medicinal Plant Unit. The farmers cultivate lemon grass ,turmeric ,giloy, vetiver ,mint and sweet basil. It aims to develop a sustainable eco-system with the local farmers and farmers of nearby districts that cultivate similar produce and other medicinal plants associated with the ayurvedic medicine and spices.The unit is equipped with the state of art machinery for processing and packaging extract of essential oils, processed items and raw spices for local sale in Amethi and nearby districts .The unit is used by farmers as a Common Facility Centre which helps in procuring their produce and thereby market it on their behalf . An additional storage godown has also been built at the site to store raw material.Treat Foundation is now registered with two marketing platforms viz: India Mart and Export India. Its products can be purchased online.
